All 4 were off the house cocktail list. The on-line list is not current.) Shared the calamari - no breading, bit of chili spice. He had the special flatbread of the day, and I had a lamb burger with fennel relish and house salad. The Scene This rating is ALL about the cocktails. Food's above average but expensive. Service is knowledgeable but not accommodating. Decor is pleasant but not noteworthy. Location is hard to find. The cocktails, however, are amazing. Apparently the head bartender guy is quite well-known (listed as one of the top 10 in the country by Playboy, or something like that.) So, we'll probably stick to appetizers food-wise in the future, but the cocktails are so amazingly excellent that we will definitely be back. Did I mention the cocktails? |
