Boy Update- Thank a LoT!
 

Now that I am finally getting a chance to slow down....

Davis is home! Woot! Came home for good on August 3rd. Since then he has settled into his new room, gotten a job, started school and is getting back to being normal.....well, as normal as possible.

He's very quiet but this is not a bad thing- just took some getting used to. Everyone else seems to be adjusting to him fairly well.

They are all back in school now, and frankly I need a nap!

He still has all the cards everyone sent him for the last 2 years- thanks again to everyone who sent him something. Those cards are going to be fun to look back on years from now-

So wish me luck- the full herd is in the house! :D

Oh wow! I can't believe he's finally home! I remember when I first started coming to the board, and reading the story as it moved along. It's been a long, hard two years for your family - I'll be keeping you in my thoughts!

Aw, that's great to hear, Nephy! That has to be quite an adjustment and I hope he pulls it off with flying colors. Best wishes to all of you. :)

That is GREAT to hear!!! He really is a great kid, he just had some bad luck and made a couple of unfortunate decisions in his past. I was actually very touched to get his response (which was genuine and heartfelt) and know that his life is better now.
