A great new word (really new)
There's a new word, just coined at Podcamp Pittsburgh, which was held on August 18-19. It's a word that describes email that clutters your inbox but isn't spam. Email from things that you signed up for, but really don't want - like constant email from amazon.com, or myspace, or facebook etc etc
The (very LoT-friendly) word: Spoiler:

I don't get it. What's the etymology? Why does bacn stand for all that type of email?
|
Better than spam, but still not good for you? Something you want, but not every day?
|
Ah, thanks.
Little boy to his mom, as he passes a bunch of sweating swankers on a grueling climb: Ewww, they smell like Bacon! |
Ize wants sossages!

Oh. I forgot to post this, didn't I.
|
But....but....bacon is a good thing! Bacon is meat candy! The best hyphenated phrase ever is "Bacon-wrapped"!
It simply cannot stand for those pesky subscribed emails. :p |
