Careless Wispa
Internet Forces Return Of 80s Icon
Cadbury is bringing back the Wispa bar in response to demand from internet campaigners. The confectionery giant will re-launch the Eighties favourite in October for a limited period. It comes four years after the Wispa was dropped because of declining sales. The Birmingham-based chocolate firm said the comeback was a response to online petitions and campaigns on social networking sites such as Facebook and Bebo. To read story, click here Ahh, who care about Wispa? Only the Brits. Not me. I like American chocolate! Oh, but how I wish an internet campaign would bring back my beloved Freakies cereal. Of all the cereals that tasted like Cap'n Crunch, Freakies was the best. Can I get a witness? Better yet, ![]() Could somebody get on this? I am terrible at Internet campaigns. Thank you in advance. |

Good point, but then you can not get a Gargle magnet from a box of Cap'n Crunch. Besides, I want Sir Grapefellow cereal and I want it now! Get it done! |
Dang Freakies only lasted 2 years - that was the lifetime of my childhood. Amazing what gets branded in our little minds in so little time.
Perhaps I can seek consolation in finding some internet personality test of what Freaky are you. |
I can't remember most of the cereals I miss. But I miss having prizes in the box. Now the stupid Special K box says "the prize is inside" and it means inside of you. I want my prize in my box of cereal dammit!
