I wish I'd met you sooner, I'm sorry we did not get to do as many fun things as I would have liked in the Bay Area, not meant to be. That said, I expect I will see you soon in the warmer climes of SoCal. If you come back for a visit, well one dinner per visit is on the agenda, any time, I owe you one! Remember, Japantown and Mifune are mere steps away from my place.

I want to wish you both a safe journey to the land of LA, may the freeway be clear, your U-haul free from worry and that all the dogs travel well with you. I know you won't be bored, goodness knows there is a crowd of great people waiting for you to show up.

Looks like the moving van is going to drop off our stuff this weekend instead of after Labor Day. Apparently, the driver is based out of San Diego and would rather unload the truck and get home to his family than linger in LA (or drive back). Yay! We're hitting the road in 33 hours...

Well, better him than you in 100+ degree heat!
