Who would have thunk? I only wish my family, friends, co-workers & neighbors could be here with me right now to share this precious moment, but they're all in Heaven now, walking with Jesus.
Or, they're just not returning my calls.
Hmmph. Some celebration. Where is my celebratory party? Where are my cupcakes with the forbidden silver sprinkles? When is it my time to shine?
Am I not supposed to get my pick up of LoT swag, or some sort of gold plaque with my name inscribed and a pleasure trip to Granada Hills?
I want to live! I want to see Paris before I die, or she dies. I want to mingle and tango with pringles and mangos. I want to see the sun rise and moon set. I want to drink from the cup of life & not get any germs. I want to wear a hat made of solid gold and shoes made of cheese, like they did in the old days before they knew better. I want to learn how to swim or eat at a fine resturant without needing a lobster bib. I want to speak when I am spoken to, climb a small mountain and not jump from a plane but tell people I did anyway. In fact, I don't want to do all the things I have never done before because I was too scared not to do the things I quite simply never want to do, but then tell people I did them anyway.
What say thee, life?
