EMERGENCY PHOTOSHOP HELP
I have an image I need to use for our MA shirts but I need to remove the background. Said background is one solid color and that color appears nowhere else in the artwork. It should be an easy thing to do, but I can't seem to figure it out. HELP!

If I made the blue background transparent, live would be perfect. But, I don't know how.

open your image
<select all> <edit> <copy> <new> (It should default to an image size that matches what you copied) Select transparent background <paste> Now erase the stuff you don't want. If it's a solid color you can make it easier by selecting it with the magic wand before using the eraser. |
Get a really talented Photoshop guru to fix it for you

*wrong thread* I'll read this one in a second... damned tabbed reading!!

Be wary of the Magic Wand. Sometimes, there are threads of that color running throughout random mixed up places. I tend to go about it the old fashioned way, which tends to not take too long if it's gone about in a logical way. Erase big chunks, then get down to the details.
But that's just me. There's probably something easier out there. |

Kevy came thru with the help of GuruDoug. Thank you Doug!

And it looks great!
