I'm going to Disneyland... in Tokyo!
 

At last, after many years of dreaming about it, I'm finally going to the land of the rising sun. Anyone else going to be there between February 18 and Febrary 26 of next year? (Hey, never hurts to ask.)

I'll be staying at the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington, which is on the manmade island of Odaiba, home to Sega Joypolis, Fuji Television and a really big-ass ferris wheel. It's about five miles from the Disney resort, and it connects to the mainland via the Yurikamome monorail. (Yes, the presence of a monorail was the deciding factor in my choice of this hotel, along with its cost-friendliness.)

Anyway, can't wait, though I'll have to anyway. I welcome any travel tips, recommendaitons, etc from those of you who have been there.

I meant to say February 18th THROUGH February 26th. Anyway, it's a week and a day, though I lose the first day on the trip over. (And get it back on the way home.)

You can always pick up the day on the way back, but be sure to hose it down.

Sega Joyopolis is pretty fun

Have a BLAST! I know someone who was there for a 'flying trip' he had one day and some change and can't wait to go back and really enjoy the parks.
