Cars and Stars

Went to a French/Italian car show with T&K yesterday (and have the sun burn to prove it) and while we were there I met a couple of celebrities-

*sigh* I have always loved Jeffrey Jones - great character actor. Sad the trouble he got himself in- creepy too- but meeting him was awesome. Very nice- chatty and playful.

Great weekend- but I need sleep like none other. More pics later- from the b-day party for Cherny!

Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing Cass! :)

Great pics!

I love Jeffrey Jones, too. Absolutely spot on as Criswell in Ed Wood, and a delight in other films, like Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I love old and vintage cars, get any cool pics of cars, too? ;)

Hahahaha! Love Jeffrey Jones. Lordy, I miss Deadwood.

Hehehe, Leno, we were just bashing him at Cherny's party after you left.

yeah, cant have a huge car event there and not have Mr Leno show up. awesome pics! Id be curious as to which of his multitude of cars he decided to bring.

Why did I think Jeffrey Jones had died earlier this year?

Because of the hallucinogens that you were taking?

I think it was his career that died, Alex.

Actually, I really like him as well, and was sorry to hear about his 'problem'- creepy, indeed. His Emperor Joseph in Amadeus was fabulous. "Too many notes!"

Well, he did have a good thing going with three seasons of Deadwood.

I think I know what I did: it was Paul Gleason who died recently (2006 not earlier this year; how time flies) and I swapped one "principal in a crappy oversentimentalized John Hughes teen film" (The Breakfast Club) with another "principal in
a crappy oversentimentalizid John Hughes teen film" (Ferris Beuller's Day Off).

I've got a lot of video, and if things go well, you might see it on TV before long. ;) (Yeah, my job sucks. ;) )

He brought his open top 1930's(?) blue Bugatti. (It looked like this: Link) I've got some great footage of it, which I should be editing together soon. :)
