I have a new way to google for reviews of items I'm thinking of purchasing.

For example, I was looking into the new o2optix contact lenses. Most of the sites I found also sell the lenses so I was skeptical of their objectivity.

So now I use something like: o2optix +vbulletin in order to find a discussion about the product.

There are so many vbulletin sites out there now that almost every specialty has a few. The discussions are typically by people in the know and free of marketing hype.

what about phpBB and all the other BB sites and services out there?

are you discriminating? ;)

I think it's fairly clear that all the best people tend to hang out on a Vbulletin system. :)
