Amusing article on political robo-calls

Interesting stuff, especially on the second page where they talk about how Candidate X's campaign will set up a robo-call that claims to want to talk to the voter about Candidate Y's campaign - but pissed off voter doesn't sit through the robo-call, so they think candidate Y made the call and gives their vote to candidate X.

I wonder how long it will be before a robot runs for President;)

Okay, I know that's out of a major sci-fi novel... but I can't remember whose!

Some say that has already happened. But I am a big fan of Ronnie, so I shouldn't bring it up.
