Sprouts
 

Sprouts popped up in my area. They're newer to SoCal. The ad was so similar to Henry's I thought they changed their name. Turns out that Sprouts was started by the nephew of the man who started Henry's. There's some interesting family gatherings for ya.

I wasn't that impressed but it will make a good substitute for Henry's if Whole Foods takes over and changes them (if the buy-out takes place) into Whole Foods (which I don't care for that much). Henry's produce seems to be fresher and the store layouts more conducive to shopping. Or maybe I hit Sprouts on a bad day.

Has anyone else shopped at Sprouts yet?

They opened one in Vista. I wasn't super impressed either. It seemed to be basically a Henry's. Nothing wonderful to make me drive out of my way to go there.

Haven't seen these guys yet, but this reminds me, our Fresh and Easy opened. Pretty cool, more on that later.

A Fresh and Easy opened here but it's no where near me. Looks interesting though. I may just have to go check it out.

The one negative about where I am living is there isn't much around. There is an Albertson's basically next door but I'm a Ralph's gal. Thankfully(?) there is a Trader Joe's basically next door to my office and a Henry's I can hit either at lunch or on the way home.

One nice thing about the area I live in - we have everything fairly close. Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, BevMo, Trader Joes, Henry's, Jimbos (similiar to Henry's), Costco, Target, and lots of other stuff. I only need to go more than a mile or so for mall type stores. Otherwise it's all really close.

I forget that I live about 2 miles from the Irvine Spectrum. They have a giant Target. And a Chipotle. It's better I forget how close I am.

Tesco USA! There's supposed to be one nearby at some point.

Sprouts, I've never heard of.

Ooh! Fresh and Easy about to open in Hollywood.

I like the Fresh & Easy concept! I'll have to check out their store. :)
