Looks like Rent is leaving Broadway soon

It's had a good long run.

Well, too bad I'll never get to see the show version. Gak, I HATED the movie.


I kinda would like to see what had Gemini Cricket all inspired and such. Oh well.

Oh ism, I'm sure there will be many, many revivals of it in the future.

It seems a lot less poignant these days though, with AIDS no longer being the quick death sentence it once was. I still love the music tho (and hated the movie... saw the play like 4-5 times, starting in college in 1996 I think).

I liked the spoof in Team America: World Police.
