For the MST3K fans

I don't know if everyone saw this in the Tref Theatre thread. Szczerbiak Maniac and everyone else, click here!

As I said in the Tref thread, I sent a message to Netflix that I want them to carry these - and I'd love it if others did the same. At Netflix.com, go to the bottom and click Contact Us, then Title Request.

Cool interview with Joel at StarWars.com

:)

Are you implying that there are people here who do not check out Tref Theatre? Impossible! Why its one of the most beloved destinations on the Internets!

My one consumer obsession is collecting Mystery Science Theater 3000. I have all the singles and box sets for MST3K and I am sure I'll probably collect all the Cinematic Titanic discs as well, though they are pricey! Its my favorite show just to put on and do other things to -- clean, read, play the uke, or whatever.

When we watched Hellzapoppin' at La Casa de Mousepod on Saturday, there's a distinct MST3K moment. Everyone in the room shouted "Mystery Science Theater!" I miss that show.

I used to attend a regular MST3K pajama party on a weekly basis back in '92/'93. It was so much fun. Our friends would cover their living room in mattresses and blankets and pillows and we'd watch the episode and then follow it up with some other b-movies and make our own comments until the wee hours. The more sleepy we got, the more obscene the comments. Heh. :D

Normally, a setup like that would be considered an orgy

Or a NYE party.

I used to get up early (and stay up late) to catch MST3K as much as possible. :)
