I just bought a lovely dress at Goodwill. It's in perfect shape and it was $35,and then I got it half price.


It's a wedding dress.

It will be cleaned of course- and maybe have the straps replaced. But it is beautiful. Beading is perfect- style works for me.

A $17 wedding dress. To go with a Vegas wedding (maybe)

So am I a smart shopper with luck, or a cheap a**?:D

Sounds like a few thousand dollars to spend on a honeymoon (or other sorts of celebrating) :)

Smart shopper i say. Heck the money you saved on the dress you can splurdge and have a nice honeymoon. Vegas is a great place to get married. I did and it was the best thing we ever did er planned on. :)

Smart and lucky. If I thought I could find a wedding dress in my size at Goodwill, I would probably look too.

Like others said, more money for other things.

Another vote for smart and darn lucky! I took the niece to be to Davids Bridal on Friday, she dropped a thousand bucks on her dress and accessories...and IMHO her dress isn't one buck prettier than yours!

I say cheap ass.
