I'm intrigued and yet perplexed - if you're at sea, wouldn't you want to feel like you're at sea? This is cool, but if I just stayed at the grove for a week or so couldn't I have the same experience?

I'm missing something here as well. I love the concept and the concept art, but I'm not sure I would want to actually experience it. I want miles and miles of endless ocean if I'm going to be cruising, not the same shopping experience I can get at home. I feel the same way about Paris or Venice in Las Vegas. I'd rather go to Paris or to Venice or experience something "Las Vegas" (of course, they've bulldozed all of the cool stuff).

Well, I get the impression they are just highlighting the differences with the Central Park thing, but that you also have the usual outside-facing staterooms and deckways with Ocean views.

I see this as a way to double the staterooms with views (and thus double the fares). Maybe there are no "inside" staterooms and all have a view of either the sea or the park.

Some of these ships are so vast nowadays that you likely loose all sense of being at sea in the interior spaces anyway.

And the Rising Tide lounge concept seems very cool, if I get it right that the place rises from the park level to an observation bubble above the top deck.

I'm still not exactly sold on spending a week aboard a boat ... but I'm a lot closer.

It's the concept, and the architecture of it I find cool. I guess it's a ship geek thing.

And, from that standpoint, I think it cool. I just wouldn't want to spend a great length of time there.
