Swan reuinited with paddle boat
 

An update to the story from last year.



I don't know why, but this particular story breaks my heart.

NA, paging NA.

I've been following this story thanks to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.

I felt a little sorry for the guy who owns the boat. He thought he got it back after all this time, and then had it taken away again.

Swans mate for life. Petra has found her man and is not going to let him go.

I'm happy for Petra. A great name for a swan, btw.

Obviously, Petra is a size queen.....

just park it somewhere and let them have their days in the sun.

Im betting the boat will outlive the actual swan (not sure how long they live) and be quite the tourist attraction in the meantime

Its almost like the film Highlander. The swan will grow older whilst the swan boat will forever stay the same age -- unless, of course, somebody cuts off its wooden head.

In other words, I'll take that bet, Cappunjack.
