NASA announcement today....predicitons?
 

NASA making a huge announcement today.

I'm thinking they've finally proven there is a black hole in our galaxy.

Actually it turns out they are not really black.


The fact that there is a black hole at the center of our (and most of not all other) galaxy is old news. However it sounds like they might have finally been able to get an image of it.

V'ger? A delicious low calorie, low carb, low fat snack? The spare keys to the office? That picture of mom at Coney Island? Aunt Pearl's secret ambrosia recipe? True love? The eleven secret herbs and spices? A giant W?

And the survey says!

Detection of the most recent supernova in our galaxy.

Meh.

It kind of looks like a baby head swaddled in a blanket. Or a really bad drawing of Caesar.

That made me chuckle. Definitely looks more like the latter. Heh.

I was hoping they were going to find the long lost shaker of salt.

Or an enormous collection of socks. I want all my missing socks back.
