Crikey !

I hit a [very large] wallaby on the road last night while driving to the house in Forster. It died instantly. :(

Unfortunately, it also stoved in the front bumper right into the radiator. :eek:

The car has been towed, and $500 excess later it will be fixed.

Oh, and I have to travel from Taree to Hornsby on the XPT train this Sunday as a result - a 330 minute train ride instead of a 195 minute drive. :rolleyes: At least I have my iPod and Stephen King's "Dreamcatcher" to amuse me.

ACK! That sounds like traveling here in the rural areas and hitting a big deer....BTDT wasn't much fun. I'm just glad you're ok, cars can be repaired, big bald bears not so easily

Did you at least get to make wallaby bacon?
