I'd like to see it go back down.

Hot robot though.

So it can climb a wall. But can it traverse the ceiling, that's what I want to know.....

That is very cool, though.

So how long before someone combines that with the wireless video rig from last week and starts climbing the walls of various condo's?

Capt Jack 05-21-2008 11:18 AM

not long Im sure....would also make for a nice easy way to case a burglary target

SusieAnne Krellingshaw aged 11.5 of Arkansas, who is currently studying robotics, says the wall-climbing toy is not that special because "Mom has been making Daddy do it for years".

She goes on to add that "it would be good for getting the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches down from the cornices."

SusieAnne is currently working on a machine that will turn whale bacon into ordinary bacon in order “to wean Japanese moms and dads”. She has hit one technical snag though – it takes one whole whale to produce half a pound of ordinary bacon. “but it’ll be worth it” she says.

I want to know the the PB&J got up on the cornices in the first place.

LashStoat 06-02-2008 08:45 AM

SusieAnne says "it happened while I was designing the Treadmill Desk [see thread]. My brother's pet hamster (Bemo Jolimont MCG the Third), who was to be an integral part of the overall design, chewed through a control cable, then overturned my lunch onto the conveyor. Mom didn't know if she should be more angry about the dining table or the sandwiches glued to the cornice."
