I remember looking out over the waves
Wondering just where and what were these summer days
I don't know if I was nearly dead or really alive
I felt the sunshine on my face, my hands, my feet
It nourished me so I didn't really eat
Staring at the water with my eyes tightly closed
Thundering sound of breakers, salt air filling my nose
