I could easily spend the next 10 years of my life traveling by train....except they don't allow pets.

While on a camping high, CP and I had the idea of backpacking by train, stopping every so often to camp for a night. I'm still considering it, I LOVE trains.

I do so love the idea of a train trip across this country, or almost any country for that matter. Hurrah rail passes.

According to the site in my OP you could travel from Lisbon, Portugal all the way to Saigon, Vietnam with only 5 changes in trains(in Irun, Paris, Moscow, Beijing, and Hanoi):D
