Firefox 3.0
So I downloaded and installed on my work PC (I like Safari on my Mac). My co-worker noted one small issue on his computer and reported it (though I can't remember what it was). I noticed that the new version spell checker does not like contractions (very minor issue).
Anyone else using it? |
We participated in the record breaking download as well.
So far, I'm not happy. It's laggy. GIFs move slowly much of the time. Gmail doesn't like it - I'm having to use the basic html version, as it won't let me even click to read emails when I'm in the newer version. I'm hoping this is temporary. I do like the address bar history search ability, but overall it's a letdown for me. |
I downloaded it on both my desktops at home yesterday. I find it laggy as well. I'm not having trouble in gMail though - but I may not have the right type of emails.
I hope they resolve the laggyness and the gMail issue soon. |
I'll wait for awhile.

I have Firefox 3.0. No problems so far...

Oddly, on the same computer, but different user profile, I'm having none of the issues CP is having. Thought BEFORE the upgrade, gmail was doing some of the stuff she described, so I'm not convinced it's entirely a FF 3.0 problem (though it could certainly be making things worse).
I like the new address bar's ability to pull from not only url's but page titles in your history. And I like that it seems to be smart enough to play youtube links in-line. |
For some reason, my YouTube is working now.
Yay for Firefox 3.0! :) |
I downloaded it last night and the only issue I had was trying to plagiarize from the Cinespia site to populate our calendar
|
I love it-but noticed some of the same issues with Gmail and a couple of other sites.
