Little Golden Books
OMG, Blast from the Past......
Last night, I bought myself a new copy of "Seven Little Postmen". I almost wept. I'm a sentimental fool. Now all I need to get is: The Colo[u]r Kittens TootleScuffy the Tugboat Mr Dog The Sailor Dog The Tawny Scrawny Lion The Little Red Caboose Richard Scarry's Good Night Little Bear The Night Before Christmas Tom & Jerry's Christmas Bozo The Clown My first counting book Brer Rabbit and the tar baby ...and I'll be happy. Of course, there were many others, but these were the most fondly remembered of all. |
Omg! Tawny Scrawny Lion! My favorite!!!!

It's not a Golden Book, but talking of collectables, I still have my large hardcover copy of the original "Richard Scarry's 'What Do People Do All Day' " given to me in 1971

It's been ages since you had a large hardover [sic]. No wonder they call them Golden Books, and it worries me that the author was Dick Scarry... Love and hugs, The Stoat XXX. |
Goodness, I've married a man with a one track mind......
.....and it's a Dirt track. :p |
