CoasterMatthew! In color?! Blasphemy! Me no like colorization of any kind. (Unless that was the way it was shot... but I don't think so.)

Wednesday July 30, not Monday June 30. You have a month to plan.

The film was colorized by the director HIMSELF. He owns all the rights to the film and its soundtrack. This isn't some studio taking a film that was never supposed to be colorized and mucking it up against the director's objections - the film was originally supposed to be shipped out to China and colored by hand, but that was too expensive. This is the way the film is supposed to be seen.

Wait, what does that mean, the "way the film is supposed to be seen?" What? Because the director says so twenty years later?

Sorry, but those are famous George Lucas Last Words.

Did the director mean for the film to be in color in its original release or not? I don't give a fig what he thinks now. If he has new ideas, where's his new movie?

(sorry ... badly burned Star Wars fan here.)
