Fairy Tale Weddings - in Disneyland

A coworker and I were (briefly) discussing getting married at/in Disneyland. While pulling up the link to Fairy Tale Weddings, I happened to see a slide show for a wedding in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. HOLY CRAP - that would be freakin awesome (and mondo expensive I'm sure). Check it out (click "View Slide Show" under "Disneyland Park").

Wow those are amazing pictures. I wonder how much that type of wedding would actually cost. Not just the space rental, but the coach, the orchestra, the trumpeters, the flowers... I'm guessing $200,000+ not including the reception.

Of course, there ARE other ways to get married inside the park ;)

Well if licky rumball and buster mcthunderstruck don't do this, they're crazy! ;)

That is so awesome and romantic!

Bring little girl dreams to life when you arrive at Sleeping Beauty Castle in Cinderella's coach beneath the twinkling stars. Your imagination is the only limit to the possibilities at this most magic of locations.
Or little boy dreams...

Aren't you already married to someone else?

I don't know if they still do but they used to have brochures in the event services building (out between PPH and DLH, next to where they built the DVC model) that I think had some price information in it.

I remember a few years ago being able to find a price list for various select items on Disney's site, but I am UTL. At that time, I remember the Coach running $1,800.

ETA: I found this site with a couple of prices listed:
Quote:

  • Cinderella's glass coach (rented for $2,200),
  • a white dove fly-over (as little as $250!),
  • private fireworks ($2,500) or confetti cannons ($500),
  • and can even privately book the Magic Kingdom (this one would cost $42,000 or more to rent for a reception, not counting other expenses).

Wow, that was poorly worded. Good catch!

I believe I am still married, let me make a call...

Yep, still married.
