He lived well beyond expectations, no doubt in part due to his great attitude. |

This was the most amazing person I have read about. I'm currenting reading the book "The Last Lecture". Its all about living your dreams with a few simple rules. |
|
I loved the book and I was sad to see that he passed away. |

Even though I knew he didn't want anyone to be sad over his death, I still am. What a neat guy. The world needs people like him- I hope is legacy is to inspire just that. |

Two things: 1. I didn't know his lecture became a book so now I've added it to my Amazon list and will definitely purchase it the first chance I can. 2. I hadn't seen his lecture all the way through before yesterday. That was the most awesome lecture I have ever heard. It was fun, meaningful, and voery worthwhile to watch. Considering what I have ben through in my life I have a similar view as his but he takes it to next level. At this stage in my life I needed to hear his lecture because I really am at a crossroads and I need to get off my arse and choose which path I want to take before the roads get blocked by tight brick walls. What an awesome man. I know his legacy will live on through all the people he has touched with his message, and especially through his children. |

If you stick with the lecture until the very, very end, he actually comes back out and delivers one more shorter lecture, titled, Her Majesty. |

I'm interested to know what involvement Randy Pausch had with Walt Disney Imagineering, whose T shirt he wears throughout his lecture. I have only found reference to him being a consultant, but nothing more specific. Anyway, I dig. |
