I'm sitting here in suburban Chicago, looking at the TV and wondering how all you folks are doing in the L.A. area? Any word from Disneyland? I know there's a whole city underneath it, so I'm just curious. Hope all's well with all of you!!

BarTop Dancer -- thanks for posting the link. Sounds like it was scary but everyone's okay then? Wow.

Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm both had to shut down rides while they checked them for saftey. Most rides were back up and running by late afternoon.

I don't know about the backstage or infrustuctre at DL.

Most of the OC faired well enough that I don't suspect much damage at the parks that couldn't be easily repared, though I did hear that the Abe Linclon in storage was decapitated.

Backstage...no damage, couldn't even tell anything had happened by 3:00PM or so.
