Old proposal for TL entrance still relevant today

Found this in my old photos. Must've snapped it out of a book at the Resort somewhere some time last year:

Totally something they should do. Although probably split it in half and have a walkway through the middle.

Yeah, getting rid of those stupid rocks has been pushed back from budget to budget for many years now.

I don't care anymore. I'm definitely in one of my bored-with-Disneyland phases and I may take another AP break when my current one expires.

Yeah I had one of those last year (expired AP from May to October).... it was really nice to *not* have Disneyland as an option for a while, and when I bought the pass again it was fun all over :)

Hmmmm I wonder what book that drawing was from or when it was drawn. You think an elaborate entrance like that would take away from the castle? It's a fun idea though. Whoever thought those rocks were a good idea needs to be smacked upside the head, but I doubt that person is at WDI anymore anyway.

If set sufficiently back (and it wouldn't have to be too far), even the most elaborate Tomorrowland entry could not be seen in the same field of vision as the Castle.

So by all means, go elaborate, go weinie! But don't go RoadBlock.

That's my take as well. Before the 1998 makeover it was always so nice and open. Those rocks created such a bottle neck. The only saving grace was that at one point there was so little to do back there that traffic died quite a bit.........
