Gone to the Dark Side of the Moon
Richard Wright Dies of Cancer
Pink Floyd member Richard Wright dies age 65 LONDON - Richard Wright, a founding member of the rock group Pink Floyd, died Monday. He was 65. |
Very sad.
:( |
Oh no. Ugh. Oh, le sigh. Pink Floyd is one of my most fave musical groups.
Does anyone have any LSD I can use for a proper tribute? (Actually, I was astonished to learn the members of the group didn't drop acid, but were big boozers when composing and performing all that psychedelic music. Will wonders never cease?) |
One of my favorite groups- too sad.:(

When I saw the headline I was momentarily sad because I thought of Steven Wright.
Then I realized that it was Steven not Richard and that I had no idea who Richard Wright is. So then I was no longer sad. Then I found out who Richard Wright is so now I know who he was but am still not sad because other than the songs on Guitar Hero I don't really know anything about Pink Floyd except that maybe that guy in the annoying Geico commercial was from Pink Floyd (but maybe The Who or something else, Lani usually has to tell me these music things several times before I remember). So that recaps the emotional roller coaster I've been on since learning this news. |

I am not sure how this affects your mood, but I wanted to clarify. |
That is who I was thinking of. For some reason I had him associated with Pink Floyd.
My sadness is unaffected but I will henceforth not blame Pink Floyd (or possibly The Who) for an annoying Geico commercial. So, you could say a little good has come from Richard Wright's death. |
Shine On, You Crazy Diamond...
I think I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep. :( |
Wait which one was he? Was he Pink?
|
How sad. :(
