Join us for SPRING AWAKENING, $20 nosebleed seats, tomorrow 11/11?

So Gemini Cricket, Tom and I have been dying to see Spring Awakening, but nobody can afford spendy tickets. Great news, though, seats in the upper balcony (we were seated there for Sweeney Todd) are now $20 on weekdays.

We're going tomorrow night, 11/11, 8pm. Would you want to join us? There are plenty of tickets left up there, and I can spot you so we're all sitting together (if you'll pay me back tomorrow.)

Anyone who is anyone is going to be there. It's all the rage. You know you want to go and be hip.
:D

I've been wanting to see this ever since a former room mate of mine used to constantly talk about it after he saw it on Broadway. I can't wait.
:)

It's about... teenage sex! You know you wanna.

It was really good :) BJ and I saw it last week, and we have tickets again for Dec 5th.

I wanna go, but alas can't tomorrow night.

Please report on its wonderfulness.

I wish someone hadn't leant me the orig cast CD to get me excited about seeing the show. It had the opposite effect.

I bought the CD but didn't like it anywhere near as much as seeing it (in NY) and it has fallen off my playlist. The show is beautiful! I'm hoping the LA company kept all the fun staging tricks and set design. Just entrancing from beginning to end. I think iSm would totally bawl at the storyline (I know I did). It's worth a lot more than $20!

Wish I could. I hear the ads on KNX all the time.

As it turns out, my ticket is up for grabs. If anyone wants to go tonight (for free) send LSPE a PM.
I'm feeling really ill. I'm congested, sweaty and my throat hurts.
I'm bummed, but I would rather be well for Sat.

innerSpaceman 11-11-2008 04:19 PM

Sorry you're feeling ill. And i wish i was free tonight. I'd really like to see this show.

So how did you like the show? Incidentally my brother and his fiancee were there last night (I got them tickets as an engagement present).
