Four year old exhibits art

There's a small display at my library of a 4 year old's work.

Of course our tech-backwards website doesn't have images so here are some that I found myself:

Seaenemy

Owl

Candy

Her parents are artists and they have encouraged her to do art since she was 6 months old, using her feet and hands. They say the art was done when she was only 3.

They are displayed differently than viewed online - Seaenemy is corrected to "Sea Anemone" and the 4 pieces are displayed vertically, while the others are, er, rotated. I think the way we have them displayed is correct.

Anyway, I love being able to look at such happy blasts of color all day, as they are displayed across from our desk. :)

Those are pretty sophisticated pieces for a youngster! The color and complexity are amazing.

Heh, I thought this thread was going to be about the documentary from last year, My Kid Could Paint That - about a couple of artists who may or may not have faked their child's masterpieces.

That's exactly what I think of every time I hear about a young prodigy.

Hopefully the kid did the one's in your library, CP.

The mom, dad and kid came in to install it, and she seemed legit to me :D
