Crowded House Drummer Paul Hester Found Dead

Apparantly hung himself from a tree in a park near his home in Sydney.

:( Very sad.

I read about this yesterday- "Don't Dream" is one of my all time favorite songs. Very sad, indeed.

I read about it last night and was really upset.....Don't Dream It's Over is my best friend Dawn's favorite song. She's the one I saw the Finn Brothers with last summer. I'll be seeing her in a few hours.....she'll get an extra big hug as she said she was really depressed about it today. We're big Crowded House fans. :sigh: Damn.

Dawn and I were at a party last night and while everyone else talked about Johnny Cochran's death, we talked about Paul Hester's. Someone else overheard us and joined in.....turns out she'd been at the Finn Brothers show as well. Kindred spirits, I think. We hung out with her all night....turned out to be a cool party after all.

I've been listening to Crowded House non-stop in the car, in memorium. So sad!

I want to know why hanging is the way to go? Isn't that how Elliott Smith died as well?

Actually, Elliott was stabbed. There's still some question if it was suicide or if someone else was involved. Either way, he was really bottoming out...
