64bit Vista
so, any of you techies have an idea of why pic files written to a DvD from an XP machine cant be seen by 64bit Vista? I know theyre there (verified on other XP machines)..but all Vista sees is an empty folder.
|
Well, my first answer would be "because it is Microsoft"
|
which is sort of the conclusion I came to as well....
 |
I had a few discs like that back when I was first transitioning to Vista - depends on how the discs were formatted (I used isobuster to get the data, then burned them again in Vista and all is well)
|
ok, I'll try again tomorrow. I had to have someone at work with a DvD burner write the files for me. I'll see what kind of options for formatting are available on his rig and try again......
thanks |
Probably because whoever wrote Vista driver for your drive sucks.
