Fantasy Island, The Wrath of Khan, and of course, Escape From the Planet of the Apes (and its sequel, Conquest of...) - these are all such indelible parts of my happy TV and movie-watching youth. So, it is a sad goodbye to a classy guy.

I loved his character of Señor Senior Sr. on Kim Possible.

His voiceover work was awesome. GD and I still refer to him on Freakazoid. "You are the weenie one!"

At almost ANY point in my childhood through young adulthood, I could turn on the TV and find Ricardo Montalban's face staring back at me. He was ever-present. But, his most surprising role to me was Vittorio Vidal in Sweet Charity. I never, ever thought of him as a love interest.

Since Georgiana passed away last year this is not too much of a surprise, a 63 year marriage, wow! From all I've read and other movie people have mentioned who knew him, a class act and true gentlemen's gentleman.

My rich corinthian leather will never feel same :(

How I loved Fantasy Island. He will always be Mr. Rourke to me.

I enjoyed his work for many years and his voice was unmistakeable. RIP Sir!
