Disneyland Paris will get a Starbucks Coffee !

In DIsney Village '' Downtown Disney '' will open before summer a Starbucks Coffee .

Is that the first time in Disney History that Starbucks Coffee open a store on a Disney Property .

I know that in the US Starbucks Coffee is at Universal Studios Florida but i dont know about Universal Studios Hollywood ?

There's a Starbucks at USH, in CityWalk.

In Paris, they can't do better than a Starbucks? Huh. Or are they selling to a lot of American tourists?

Heresy, I know, but I'm not really a fan of SB.

Finally, I can get a decent cup O Joe in Paris!

 ;)

All of the coffee stands in USH brew Starbucks coffee...

"brewing Starbucks coffee" and being a Starbucks are two different things*

(*-for those of us who exclusively drink lattes and Frappuccinos, neither of which fall in the category of standard brewed coffee)

Since the targeted effect of Starbucks is to mimic a French coffee house, isn't the idea of having a Starbucks in France kind of odd?

alphabassettgrrl 02-02-2009 10:54 AM

Actually doesn't SB mimic Italian? I order a cafe au lait and they ring it up as a "misto" because they can't seem to use the proper French phrase.

Interesting news considering they're closing hundreds of stores and laying off thousands.

Yes, but the location is prime don't you think? Less better performing stores sounds like a good idea.
