Google Sync
Hmm, I'm kind of interested in this. What's been keeping me from using my phone calendar is the fact that it's not going to match what's on my other calendars, and if GD and I can't both access it it's not really all that convenient. This, I might get into (and yes, it works on my phone).
Good thing my battery is dead. Guess I'll need to be better about that, too. |
I use it on my BB - it sync's my Google calendar to the calendar on my phone. I don't use it to sync my address book because I use the stand alone gmail app for my email, not the BB email software (personal preference).
I like that I can update the calendar and it will sync to my phone, but I can also update the calendar on my phone and it sync's back to Google. |
If I didn't have (the premium) me.com service from Apple, I'd certainly use this on my iPhone. Good for Google!

I use MobilMe as well (and love it). I couldn't live without syncing.
|
If it can't sync to my work calendar it is pretty much useless to me. And for security reasons nothing will ever be able to sync to my work calendar except a work provided Blackberry.
|
Now that Google has licenced Microsoft's Activesync to be part of Google Sync (implying it will soon play nice with Exchange Sever) I may have to take another look at it....
|
Awesome! I've been waiting for this. Now I can get the iCal to load up my work stuff via Google Calendars.
|
Oooo, that would be handy with my new Nokia (which I got yesterday an have no clue how to use  ). Right now I just use 2 calendars.
I heard Microsoft is coming out with an app similar to MobileMe (but MS plans to offer theirs for free) sometime in the next year. |

I keep putting this off because I have to back up my phone first. Apparently it sometimes wipes your old phone contacts.
