downloading video
Okay, for the tech people, the Valentino Conference videos are here and set for Windows Media Player.
http://www.labquazza.unito.it/Convegni.php#valentino Is there a way I can save the darned videos and burn them on a DVD? I can do the burn, I'm an idiot and can't figure out how to save them. |
I think you need some sort of converter to change the file format to something a DVD player can read. There's lots out there. I've used Roxio's version before. There's a bit of playing around with settings as well depending on what country it will be viewed in, wide screen or regular, etc.
There's demo's out there as well - most (all?) will put a watermark on the video though until you purchase the full version. |
The links on that page are all streaming links, which means you can't save them directly. And they seem to have them fairly well protected as the method I usually use to grab them isn't working. There are some other options, if I have a moment, I'll try some of them.

If you can't get anything else to work, I have screen grab software that records video, so I could record them that way and make you a dvd.
