I know Yahoo news is not entirely reliable, but I found this caption amusing.

I don't get it...

That Lincoln died in Beverly Hills

Hmm, perhaps she's referring to the poor sentence structure that seems to indicate that Lincoln lived until last Friday?

Ah... The text. When she said "Caption" I thought she meant "Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial".

That and the "fact" that he died in Beverly Hills (as Snowflake mentioned).

That's what GD is referring to. Here's what the author meant to say:

In Beverly Hills, CA, on Friday March 9th, 2009, photography collector Keya Morgan holds what he believes is a rare, unpublished photograph of Abraham Lincoln, the only image of the 16th president in front of the White House, and the last sitting of Lincoln in 1865, before he died.

It's still a poor sentence.

The sentence was so mangled, here's the variation I got out of it:

"Photography collector Keya Morgan, in front of the White House before he died in Beverly Hills, Calif., Friday, March 6, 2009, holds what he believes is a rare, unpublished photograph of Abraham Lincoln, the only image of the 16th president and the last sitting of Lincoln in 1865. The image by photographer Henry F. Warren was uncovered in the personal album of Gen. Ulysses S. Grant."

Does anyone know where OJ was on that day?
