off to Belgium for 2 days !
 

i'm off to Belgium for 2 days . it is actually not too far 3 hours drive only just enough time to take pictures of brussels , eat some fries with mayo and waffles then driving back monday night to Paris .

Are there not any brussels in Paris? I like my fries with mayo and waffles, too. Sometimes ketchup, but always waffles.

Chocolate! Don't forget the Belgium chocolate.

We miss you already.....not just the Lashpair (miss them too of course)!

i'm back from Belgium i'll do a trip report later this week . We drove 3 hours and right after we passed the toll on the freeway we got arrested by the cops for regular check . Then my friend got a Ticket for not wearing his seatbelt ( 90 Euros ) .

Then we spend the day in Plopsaland near the french border in belgium its actually on the Flammish side so they re not supposed to speak french but because they are near the french border they actually do .

Monday we spent the day in Brussels and took pictures had some Belgian Chocolate and Fries . We actually stopped in a Grocery Store in Belgium to buys some stuff that we dont have in France like CHOCOMEL their Chocolate Milk to drink and the famous especially in Holland but they had it in Belgium . The Famous Frites Sauce ! It's Actually a Mayonnaise but it"s sweetened and its awesome .

Next time you're in Europe near Belgium or Holland or even Germany try the Frites Sauce .

Then on the way back to Paris right after the border we got stopped by the French Border Patrol to see if we didnt bought illegal drugs in Belgium . Yes as there is no Customs anymore between countries they re allowed to stop you and check everything everywhere .

anyway i had a great weekend in Belgium .

Wow, sounds great! Except for getting stopped by the police, of course. Getting checked like that happends at the Mexican/American border, so I know what that's like. We also have the "Click-it or Ticket" slogan to try to get us to use our seat belts, as it's a law here now also.

Frites Sauce sounds interesting. Is it a dip used on french fries (I'm thinking of Pomm Frites)?

The Lashpair? Why would we miss them? Did they go somewhere?
