Disney is Coming to DC
 

Disney will be building a 500-Room hotel here in DC.

I'd rather see a theme park but I guess we'll take what we can get...

Well blame the voters in Fauquier and Prince William counties in VA, Moonie for no DL in the DC area. The votes happened before I lived there, but I think a Disney park would have been infinitely better than the McMansions that happened when all the people who voted Disney down then sold off their land to developers.

Pretty much, although building a history themed park directly adjacent to real civil war battle fields did smack of the same type of genius that built a California themed park in the middle of California.
