I'll kick things off with the upcoming Nikkon CoolPix S1000pj



I dig the retro styling, and the tech stats seem impressive (12.1MP, 5x optical zoom, optical and electrical image stabilization). But the real kicker - built in projector! It can project an image up to 40" in size, up to 2 meters away, and comes with a stand and a remote. WANT!

OMG, that's cool.



Um, if I used a camera more than twice a year, I'd want that even more than I already do ... just because It's So Frelling Cool.

This gives me major gamer wood!

Beats by Dr. Dre <-- this linked article summed up my feelings for this.

The post-mortem is that I'm happy I shelled out the bux for them. J bought some and before we got home, I knew I'd be jealous. We'd been checking them out a while, but at $299 they were too expensive for my blood (as J so eloquently put it). So, we went back and got the last box for me.

Le sigh.

meh. My experience with Beats was "meh" at best. You should check out a pair of Grado 325i if you're spending in that neighborhood.

At $100, I have been VERY happy with my Sennheiser HD280Pro headphones

Yeah, Sennheiser has some great 100-200 cans, too.

For less than the price of "Beats", you can get a pair of HD280pros and a Headroom Total Airhead portable amp combo that would sound even sweeter.
