Absolutly sickening!

That's sick.

I Googled "Facebook Obama poll" and there are stories that the Secret Service is looking into it.

FB is usually on top of those things, I hope they pulled it already.

Maybe they meant 'Osama'- you know how often they tend to get the two confused.

Given the choices, I'm thinking that this was posted as a joke/critique of those overreacting to Obama and not by someone who actually wants to kill him. Whatever the source, if it reduces the number of polls, it's all to the good.

Just can't be all that bothered by it. Vote "No" and move on.

Am hardly shocked that some anonymous person asked a "shocking!" question.

The Secret Service will investigate because that is there job, the person behind it will be put in the lowest risk category and new douchebags will come to the fore.

I expect people who answered in the affirmative should expect to be monitored too.

Yeah, it's stupid and juvenile and all that, but how is it all that different from all the "Hate Bush" crap of the last eight years?

Challenge: Only respond with answers lacking any "Obama is the Messiah" sentiment.

It's different because no one posted a "Should Bush Be Killed" poll; plus all the hate filled rhetoric coming from the far right fringe.

I feel comfortable saying that no one here sees Obama as a messiah, nor do most on the left.

Maybe I'm using a different Facebook, but "Kill Bush" posts, statuses, and whatnot have been showing up for some time as I wander around. I see this as no different than those. I agree, there is a dizzying array of rhetorical hate coming from right dwellers, and it's shameful, but again, no different at all than the constant avalanches of rhetorical hate towards Bush. Neither side is innocent, and neither target exclusive or special.

That was more rhetorical, a la society's love affair in general, than board specific. And, it was a bit of self amusing snarkiness, I admit. But, there's more Obama love-fest here than you may admit. Look back at some postings and avatars if you need proof.
