A Cafe for those visiting San Diego....

This place is owned/operated by a brother of a friend of mine. It is almost directly across the street from the Mission Beach Big Dipper rollercoaster.

I've only had coffee there {as when we've gone out to the beach, we are bike riding/running/or walking, not eating} but it is in a very good location if you are out at the Boardwalk.

Check out the news section for specials.

No pressure, just thought I'd share it. Thought it might be a nice place to get together with friends or for dinner with your sweetie. :0)

She said something about maybe offering discounts for large groups, but, I would check with her first to confirm.

Anywho...just sayin'......

Ain't that just fancy talk for french fries?

MouseWife 10-14-2009 03:43 PM

LOL Is it? They are British. I have to be honest I am DYING to dine there as I want to see if the seasoning is any different. Not your typical British food and I wonder what he's done with it. :0)

Thanks you guys for the interest! :snap:

Pomme frits.....mmmmmmm.....such a gringo, I love french fries!!!

Technically pommes frites is just the French word for french fries, but recently it's been used on menus to refer to a specific style of french fry (shoestring, double-fried, usually with some sort of seasoning like parsley flakes on them).

I thought that after I posted {how many people do that? think after they post? :blush: } that the wording is French.

Capt Jack, if you do go before I do, let me know what you think. I would probably eat a burger. I don't eat fast food burgers much and would like to try theirs. Homestyle? Dunno. :0)

Or breakfast....

{I'm hungry right now, actually...}
