Fred Flinstone animator gone to the quarry in the sky

I grew up on The Flintstones and fondly remember them well. Not great animation if you're looking at it as art. But the stories and the snappy dialogue (and great voice characters) and the plain weirdness of the landscapes made it wonderful watching.

While I was never as fond of MGM cartoons, I did love the Tex Avery's, so Mr. Benedict gets props for that too!

Farewell Ed Benedict, you left a nice legacy!
