It poured off and on here all day. Every downpour was preceeded by thunder and lightning. According to Nick we had a lightning strike very close to the house and caused a power surge that knocked out the power for "about five seconds." I came home and the cable was messed up. I told David to reboot the cable box. He didn't. I did just now and it seems to be back online.
the football game was fun. It was neat seeing the 2 people I most wanted to see. Then some punk ass kid threw gum and it ended up in my hair. That was enough for me. I was ready to head home. We talked aobut it and decided that these kids (and our old school) were a whole lot rougher and thuggier than we ever were. The whole area has gone so far down hill. It was like a different part of the world.
