Wouldn't deleting messages be a whole lot of work? I know that some sites have the technology available for a person to not only delete their posts, but delete their accounts as well. I'm a member of a site that is hosted by an Internet company called Proboards, which operates this way. However, when an account is deleted, either by the person themselves, or by a moderator who has banned them from the site, their posts still remain...they just have the title of "Guest" underneath them.

I think you're hoping for impossible odds to truly delete a person from a website. There's always going to be SOME trace of them.

But, for your sake, LS, I hope you can reach common ground with this person and make some compromises so that you can both get some closure (if that's the right word).
