From personal experience - the $10-$15 lock is cheaper than $150 for a locksmith or a busted up door jam. If anything, make sure there is a key stashed somewhere other than on your keys or in the bedroom. That would have saved me a ton of grief last night.

Like I said, the bathroom's an alternate, unlockable route with a door literally adjacent to the main door. So it's not a big deal.
