And a few other early adopters. Certainly, no one is going to buy into HD heavily until either BluRay or HD-DVD come out the winner. Even then, to most folks ... they increased picture quality is really not all that worthwhile a goal. DVD is just too new for most people to abandon, and it is foolish of media corporations to think everyone's just going to throw away the DVDs they've amassed over the past measley 6 years or so.

I won't be able to afford a hi-def TV till 2012 or so, so I really could care less about hi-def movies.
