Heh, that sounds pretty close to the stupidity we went through when we first signed up for DSL 9 years ago.
Me: "I agreed to a 1 year contract in April, but you didn't have my service up and running until June. I want my 1 year contract to end in April."
Any one of 3 companies I was dealing with (phone company, company that maintained the DSL equpiment, company that actually provided the DSL service: "Not our problem, call [insert one of the other two companies here]."
